Not to overstay my welcome so to speak, but before these mics come down tomorrow for my gig, I did a final recording of just 3 or 4 different grooves. Starts with a couple of soca/calypos thing or whatever it's called. Then a thing that transitions between 4/4 and 6/8 thing. Then a rock thing which I found REALLY hard to do those fills and keep everything smooth with the click, but it was fun trying. [img]tongue.gif[/img]
I quite like the soca things best. They're simple and I think they feel ok.

Enough have has been said on the solo - Great playing!!
Nice grooves too! Very nice hi-hat openings in the beginning. To get a consistent sound is not always easy. My only recommendation would be to turn down those rim shots a little.

Forgot to mention that the single strokes on the last groove are disgusting. I should add this is meant in a good way! Keep it up - no tomatoes will be thrown by me!

Thanks suspiria. Perhaps in future I should incorporate more beats like in the last mp3 into a solo rather than the obscure waffling around I played.
